How often do I need a tune-up?
The golden standard for tune-ups will differ based on a few variables: the vehicle’s age and how often you drive it. Generally speaking, if you drive an older car containing a non-electronic ignition, getting a tune-up every 30,000-45,000 miles is recommended. For newer vehicles with electronic ignition, you can drive between 25,000 and 100,000 before a tune-up.
